Why hire a dj over a band? In short, it's about the music. Slim McFaddle and His Jug Band may play live, but they can only play what they can play. If you're in the mood for a little disco, a little classic rock, a little 90s dance, then a little current music, a good dj is the only way to go. If you're going to need announcements made, games played, and interactivity, a band won't be able to help you. Why should I choose a DJ company over an individual? Certainly you can probably get a better price from an individual, but as a company we have the flexibility of matching a disc jockey to your personality. Sure, each of us is very entertaining, but each in his own way. With a staff of disc jockeys, we're certain to be able to match your desires and personality. What kind of music will you play? Do you have a playlist? The music is tailored to your event. In short, we play what you and your guests want. Anything from the 30's to today, hip hop to country -- we have it all and love it all. Your guests are always welcome to make requests for special songs. That being said, now that we've found someone who types with all ten fingers, we've been able to compile a list of the most popular songs requested at many of our gigs. Will you make announcements? Of course. We are constantly amazed at disc jockeys who are afraid of microphones or who have to be told to announce certain things. Part of our job is interaction. We want all guest to be fully aware of everything happening and about to happen. Our staff includes accomplished public speakers as well as experienced former radio personalities. Put us behind a microphone, we'll know what to do. What types of events will you do? Whatcha got? Every year we are called upon to DJ/MC wedding receptions, corporate functions, birthday parties, Christmas parties, house parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, school dances, outdoor events, theme parties and some others that will remain between us and the host. We are fun enough to DJ teenage birthday parties, yet professional enough to be called on by mayors for their private functions. What packages do you offer? Depending on your type of event and number of guests, you may choose one of our DJ packages or we will work you to tailor a package that meets your event requirements: Standard: Standard DJ sound system and lighting, music customized to your event, DJ/MC Lights Fantastic: ...and we mean FANTASTIC! This is a show that will dazzle you. We provide a professional, concert-quality light show, using the best equipment in the business. Our competitors can't touch this! (dj's just have to quote M.C. Hammer). We can also provide a customized lighting solution for your event (example photo). Boomtastic: Every dj system we take out is professional with high quality sound. Sometimes our customers want a little more boom in the room. Our Boomtastic package features our upgraded sound, including subs and upgraded drivers. If you can dream the package it's likely we can provide it, (hey it's only your hearing--you've got 4 more senses). Video Dance Party: A hit for past several years with our teen crowd, the Video Dance Party features YOU. We can provide up to a 30ft projection screen, along with a roaming cameraman to give you the real dance party feel. Combine with our Boomtastic for a ridiculously great party.
