We are reluctantly giving in to shameless self-promotion and posting a little about each one of our full-time staff on this page. Normally we don't allow ourselves to be photographed (it's a witness protection program thing), but we felt that if you saw our faces you would understand why it's so important that we have great personalities.
Rudy Greer (aka Rootdaddy, Ruby Green) Wow! Rudy celebrated his 30th year in the business just this year. After dying his hair in a failed attempt to become the 5th Teletubby, Rudy came back to Huntsville to entertain the masses. Rudy started out in the 70s with his "Amazing Rudolph's Front Row Disco Show" (ok, quit laughing), and never stopped. Rudy brings an incredible amount of energy to a show, and has the repeat customers to prove it. He is in great demand around the area, so book him early.
Sean Barnes (aka Champagne) Sean is our budget-conscious dj--so much so that he could only find one way to get a free portrait. Sean started his dj career spinning records in the womb. Actually, he did start early in skating rinks across Huntsville and the surrounding area. From there he moved into the club scene and radio. He has been on air at WTAK as Sean Knight, and spun at almost every club in the area, including the old Velvet Underground, Cheers, and Classic Cafe as Champagne-(the king of bottled beer). (Disclaimer: The photo to the right is a JOKE. Sean really does love puppies, babies, and often feels very pretty. He has never displayed any criminal tendencies at an event... yet.)
Mo Hayden (aka Jonny Rocko, Mo-licious, Mo-cephus, any other "Mo" wordplays) Ok! It's not a picture of Mo, but he built the website, so he got to pick the photos. Mo started out as just a kid starving for attention. What better way to get it than in front of a bunch of people, talking and playing music. His dj career began in radio as Jonny Rocko at WZYP in the 90s. From there he moved to Scottsboro to host a morning show at a country radio station, then got in to the mobile dj market. Mo has a great appreciation for all types of music, and would be happy to dj the first ever all-classical dance party. He also speaks fluent Spanish, and is therefore stocked with everything from Salsa and Merengue to Cumbia and Ranchera. Don't tell him we told you, but he also has an extensive collection of Spanish karaoke to party with. Mo is also an accomplished public speaker and MC. Just to be fair, this is the real Mo...
Erick "Big E" Ordonez Big E is the latest addition to our company, and definitely brings some class to the place. He is a soon-to-be graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (we're not really sure, but we think all that has something to do with a lot of noise, fire, and going really fast, so we're in). Erick started his dj-ing at WZYP in Huntsville. He is originally from El Paso, Texas, and has played football at UTEP and professionally for the Huntsville Raptors indoor team. He is a native Spanish-speaker, and can Salsa dance all night.
Eddie Davis (aka Special Ed, The Lawn Ranger Eddie has become our adopted employee, and is responsible for taking out the trash, mowing, weed-eating, and picking up sticks and leaves. He keeps us grounded because he can't grasp the concept of money. He doesn't worry about how old his clothes are or how new his car is. He's happy for rainy days because, "Rain makes the grass grow, then I get to cut it." He's quite a guy. Contact Eddie (keep in mind that things have to be read to him and he has limitations) |
